The Coldest Night of the Year is an annual fundraiser that invites Calgarians to not only help the homeless members of our community but also to experience a small taste of what it means to experience homelessness during Calgary’s often brutally cold winter nights. The proceeds will be going to the KAIROS Calgary’s Affordable Housing Working Group for the Bankview Apartments, a 26 unit building that provides permanent supported housing for families and individuals.
Greenery’s Linda Anderson has decided to take the initiative on this and has started the Greenery Green Gang team. We will be walking the cold night on February 24th and hope you will join us or help out with a donation!
